4rth Seminar of Leadership Program at Tirana Business Park

After four weeks of continuous seminars in different companies, the final seminar of Leadership Program towards a strong career, titled “Freshman Leaders” was held yesterday, on Friday, April 15 2016 at 10.30, in Tirana Business Park. Women’s Leadership Club in collaboration with Career Planning and Alumni Office developed this activity to generate knowledge regarding the career steps that undergraduates have to take for future work experiences.  Companies such as INTESA SANPAOPLO BANK, VODAFONE ALBANIA,  TIRANA BUSINESS PARK and Mrs. Teuta ÜSTÜNDAĞ, assistant of the Vice Minister of Energy and Industry, were offered to train around thirty students with the latest requirements for a job position in the today’s market.  They are different companies with different profiles and organizational structure and presented their own way of functioning in terms of recruiting new staff or giving chances for training, development and internship opportunities.

The final seminar was hosted by the General Manager of TBP Ms. ANNA STADLER in the modern premised of TIRANA BUSINESS PARK.

MS. STADLER introduced the students with the environment of TBP and she talked a lot about the steps you have to follow in future job interviews. Her main focus was on punctuality, motivation and being real about the things you write on your VC. She also advised students not to follow the typical formats of CVs, but instead to create their own format. Her presentation was short but the interaction and communication with the audience was considerably extended. Students were also given some symbolic presents from TBP staff.

After the seminar, the ceremony of distributing certificates took place. MS. STADLER, and the Head of Banking and Finance Department, MR.UGUR ERGUN, were required to hand out the certificates of participation to the students. The later atmosphere was followed by photos and by a simple banquet that the club members had prepared for all who were present.

This innovative idea that was successfully implemented throughout these weeks was one of numerous activities that Epoka University supports in order to help its students grow and get promoted in the labor market.

We invite you all in other similar activities.
